Rob Boyd

Boyd is a Managing Director and the Co-Head of commercial mortgage loan production and mortgage portfolio management for New York Life Real Estate Investors. 

Rob joined the firm in 1998 in the Atlanta office and initially served as a mortgage loan originator.  Prior to joining the firm, Rob was a Senior Investment Analyst with MetLife Real Estate Investments in Atlanta and Boston for six years.  Prior to that, Rob served in Atlanta as an Assistant Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate Lending department of a predecessor entity of Bank of America. Mr. Boyd has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

Jonathan Broadway

Jonathan Broadway is the Broker / Owner of LHT Commercial Real Estate, LLC.

Broadway started LHT Commercial Real Estate in 2013. He is blessed to represent the largest developer of Dollar General stores in the country. He finds new sites for Dollar General and then after the construction of the store is complete, he sells it as a true NNN investment product. 

Prior to getting into real estate, Jonathan was in advertising in North Alabama. He graduated from the College of Business at Auburn with a degree in Marketing. Jonathan is a member and former three-time Captain of the Huntsville Quarterback Club, a former Sunday School teacher, and youth worker at First Baptist Church. Jonathan enjoys spending his time with his wife Tanya and their three children Landon, Hudson, and Tinsley. Jonathan is one of Landon’s travel baseball coaches. 

Joe Bucher

Joe Bucher is Director of Strategic Design for Southwest Value Partners.

Mr. Bucher has management responsibility for the firm’s development and renovation design initiatives. Mr. Bucher leads the firm’s Strategic Design function which includes visioning, directing, and master planning complex projects through innovative design.  He has been an instrumental vision to Nashville Yards an 18 acre mixed use district redefining the gateway to downtown Nashville.

Prior to joining Southwest Value Partners, Mr. Bucher oversaw Gresham Smith’s mixed-use portfolio as a partner in Gresham Smith’s Mixed-Use Practice. He has led various projects nationwide totaling more than $3.5Bn in construction cost.

Mr. Bucher holds a degree from Auburn University in Architecture and is a registered architect in the State of Tennessee. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB) Certified, and serves on the Board of Auburn University’s Masters of Real Estate Development through Harbert College of Business and School of Architecture, Design, and Construction.

Sims Garrison

Garrison is the executive vice president / CEO for Fairway Investments.

Sims joined Fairway Investments in 1997 after a four year career with accounting firm Arthur Andersen.  Over his 25+ year real estate career with Fairway, Sims has participated in acquisitions/dispositions, finance, asset management, accounting, business development and the strategic direction of the company.  Sims graduated from the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business in 1993 with a degree in accounting. Sims continues to serve Harbert via his role on the Advisory Board for the Masters of Real Estate Development (MRED) Program.  Sims is a member and former Captain of the Monday Morning Quarterback Club (fundraising arm of the Quarterbacking Children’s Health Foundation), a member and former President and Treasurer of the Spartan Athletic Foundation, former Treasurer of the Ronald McDonald House of Alabama Board of Directors and is active in Grace Church Birmingham.

Sims enjoys sports and traveling and spending time with his wife and two children, Parker and Kathryn.

Paxton Hollar

Hollar is senior vice president for SunCap Property Group.

Paxton Hollar has over 25 years of experience in development, investment and brokerage of many product types within the commercial real estate industry. His primary responsibility with SunCap is furthering the success of SunCap’s industrial build-to-suit and speculative development across the Southeast.
Paxton began his career with Lat Purser & Associates where he was responsible for the leasing of a large retail portfolio throughout North and South Carolina. After four years at LPA, he joined Lincoln Harris’ Corporate
Services Group. While there, he oversaw the leasing and asset management of several key mixed-use developments in the Carolinas, managed Carolinas Healthcare System’s 200+ medical office building portfolio, and developed
several successful retail, office, medical office and mixed-use projects.
In 2004, Paxton joined two colleagues in the creation of the first regional office for Lauth Property Group. His primary responsibility was managing the Southeast development team and all facets of the company’s commercial developments including procurement, entitlement, tenant negotiations, construction and disposition.
Following the Great Recession of 2008, Paxton joined SunCap, founded by his good friend, Flint McNaughton, and currently oversees SunCap’s industrial developments across the Southeast. He has generated numerous new clients for the organization through the execution of client-specific build-to-suit developments and has developed speculative projects in key markets across the Carolinas.
Paxton grew up in Hickory, NC, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has called Charlotte home since 1997. For almost two decades, he has been involved with Myers Park Trinity Little League, serving as a board member and volunteer coach of multiple baseball teams.

Earnest Johnson

Johnson is Partner, and Executive Managing Director, Investment Committee for ApexOne Investment Partners. 

Earnest focuses on capital markets, fund strategy and financial and fund administration, and investor relations.  He has 43 years of real estate experience, including 17 years as the Executive Vice President of PM Realty Group’s Capital Markets division and ten years with JMB Property Company, where he served as Executive Vice President of the Western Division.  Ernest was on the development team for industrial, retail, and office buildings (Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina), multifamily (Houston and Dallas, Texas) and medical office (Houston, Dallas, and Texoma, Texas).  He is actively involved with National Multifamily Housing Council.  He serves on the Advisory Council for Auburn University’s Master of Real Estate Development program and is also on the University of Florida’s Bergstrom Real Estate Center Advisory Board.  Ernest previously served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Lone Star Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and has been inducted into the MS Society’s National Fundraising Hall of Fame.  Ernest graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University (1980).
