Auburn University’s Master of Real Estate Development Program held its first annual CityBuilders Symposium and Networking Event on  May 15^th, 2019 at SunTrust Park. This special symposium featured an All-Star panel consisting of Mike Plant, President and CEO Braves Development, Jeremy Hull, Director of Wakefield Beasley and Associates’ Planning Studio, and David Demarest, International Director Jones Lang LaSalle. The conversation focused on both the history and development of the Battery at SunTrust Park and new developments and trends at future mixed-use developments around the country which will be anchored by sports complexes.  This talented and experienced team shared some of the unique challenges and opportunities of these cutting edge developments along with the long term transformational impact they have on their local communities.

After the All-Star panel, an exclusive private industry Networking event was held on the spectacular Xfinity rooftop patio above right field during the Braves game.  Participants networked with other industry leaders and watched the Atlanta Braves play the St. Louis Cardinals.
